Senior/Principal Civil Design Engineer Highways required by a Transport and Engineering Design Consultancy in Central London.
You will be working on a very high profile project, based around roads and highways design (S278) for the public realm. You must be proficient with Civil 3D, Keysigns and PDS. You will be working on projects from concept design up to detailed design, mainly on existing streets. Experience in drainage design would be an added bonus but not essential.
Experience in construction logistics and traffic management design is very important for this role. You will be taking ownership of your projects, leading them and delegating design work to other members of staff. You will still be hands on yourself while also checking the work of others. You will also be client facing and will do some business development as part of your role.
The company is looking for a hard working professional, keen to work on high profile projects. You must be able to work independently, delivering projects to the highest technical standards. You must also be able to attend site visits when required, mainly in London.
