Civil Infrastructure Technician vacancy available with one of the market leading consultancies, for their office in London. You will be working on development infrastructure, mainly for residential and mixed-use schemes. experience in these areas is essential although candidates from a highways or major infrastructure background may be considered. You must be from a consultancy background. Suitable candidates should be experienced in the design of drainage and roads (S278, S38) and be proficient with design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities of the Civil Technician:

* Undertaking design and detailing of engineering schemes

* Foundation degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent,

* Assisting Job Directors/ Technical Directors/Engineers in managing projects from inception to completion,

* Acting as Job Manager with projects from inception to completion as required,

* Experience of designing and detailing infrastructure schemes,

* Experience in the use of various software, including AutoCAD, Micro Drainage, PDS and Civils 3D (further training provided as necessary),

* Good numerical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
