Assistant Production Manager

Are you currently a Shift Manager or supervisor looking to progress to Production Manager level?
Do you have experience in the FMCG sector?
Have you got experience implementing operational management systems?

This opportunity has the chance to join a long established plastics manufacturer, who are looking to recruit due to a re-organisation of their current structure, the focus is to separate the mix and blend function from compounding which this role will focus on.

This role will report to the Production Manager and short reporting line to the Operation Director. Responsibilities include 30-40 headcount over 3 shift patterns, continuous improvement of all aspects and increasing responsibilities through time and strong performance.

Experience in a Shift Manager, Shift Supervisor or Assistant Production Manager level is crucial but someone that is hungry to progress up an organisation and dynamic thinking and actions to make that happen. Ideal background would be FMCG focused bringing an urgency and drive that are standard in the sector.

This role brings the chance to progress to a senior role in the mid to long term. Salary of £40,000 - £45,000 is negotiable dependant on relevant experience. Standard 25 days holiday, pension contribution and no weekend working unless overtime.
