Rail Section Engineer

Major rail project in the South West starting now, Section Engineer role available

Your new company
A major contractor is looking for Section engineer for a major project in the South West of England.

Your new role:
As a Section Engineer you will provide groundworks and marking out duties to several projects within the
business. The role involves establishing the level and survey control for contracts and setting out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring that checks are made on a regular basis.
As the project progresses you will have experience in structures.

What you'll need to succeed:
Although no TPS is needed a background in Civils is preferred.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have previous experience within site engineering, ideally Civils works and rail schemes however engineers with suitable experience will be considered.

Previous experience of groundworks and levelling on civil engineering projects, which should include
drainage and levelling
Degree/HNC, or equivalent, in civil engineering
CSCS card
Temporary Works Coordination, design and management.
Experience using AutoCAD
