Senior Structural Engineer (Heritage)

My client is a well-established and respected multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy whose Central London office is looking for a versatile Senior Structural Engineer to work on their expanding portfolio of heritage projects across the UK.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years' experience (a minimum of 2 in the UK) in all structural materials on a variety of existing and new build projects in the heritage sector including refurbishment, conservation and adaptive re-use.

Requirements:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering,
• Chartered with either MIStructE or MICE,
• A minimum of 6 years' post-graduation experience,
• An aspiration for CARE accreditation is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided,
• A dynamic approach,
• A keen interest in the historic built environment,

You will also be required to lead and run your own projects with the support of internal engineers, delegating work and mentoring junior members of staff and will have a desire to develop your own knowledge and skills on a wide variety of small, medium and large heritage sector projects of national and international significance.
