SENIOR CIVILS ENGINEER £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (Permanent)WimbledonWe have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a prestigious consultancy in Wimbledon, where you will be working on a range of Residential, Industrial and Infrastructure schemes. Key duties will include:
Project management to include preparing quotations, invoicing and responsibility for the commercial success of projects.Communicating directly with clients, developing client briefs & attending project meetings.Management of production of technical documents by other team membersVerifying design calculations and drawings done by other engineers and techniciansProducing concise technical reports in line with customers' expectations.Visits to site to represent the company and carry out investigations and monitor construction.Development of engineering design and details in accordance with project briefPreparation of calculations, written reports and specifications.Skills & Experience:You'll be a good team player with good interpersonal skills who is keen to make a positive contribution to the work environment. As a key member of the team, you'll be motivated to and capable of leading/supporting other team members and demonstrating excellent customer care.The candidate will be confident in the use of the following software packages: AutoCAD 2D Micro-drainage PDS or Civil 3D desirable.Act as Project Manager to successfully deliver technical work stages and their associated deliverables, and supporting Project Managers who are coordinating larger schemes; Developing knowledge and understanding of project financial management; Demonstrating consistently high levels of client care; Demonstrating good communications skills internally with project teams and externally to clients; Attending or leading meetings with the client or third parties in relation to project matters; Development of company business and working with other teams to achieve company targets; Highways Design (Section 38 & 278);
