Infrastructure Design Engineer

Are you a skilled Infrastructure Engineer currently seeking a new challenge? Would you thrive in a long established consultancy who specialise in offering infrastructure solutions to UK residential developers?

As part of their continued growth, our client, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their expanding team on the outskirts of Colchester on a full time permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have road and sewer design experience, preferably working within the residential sector and will be happy to work in a small team.

Requirements:

• A degree in civil engineering,
• Competency in producing detailed designs in AutoCAD,
• Experience of drainage design using WinDes Micro Drainage and knowledge of PDS,
• A working knowledge of Section 104 and Section 38/278 highways agreements,
• Excellent communication skills,
• Ability to work well under pressure and deliver to deadlines,
• Experience of Civils 3D would be desirable but is not essential,
• Good negotiation skills with clients and authorities would be ideal.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take responsibility for delivering design packages and developing their consultancy Skills. This is a small team so you will be involved across all aspects of the project and responsible for creating the detailed design.
