We have a great opportunity for an experienced Revit Designer who enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams throughout the entire span of a project, from the initial concept development, through drawings/specifications, to report preparation and equipment sizing and selection, and finally meaningful engagement during the construction contract. Ideally with a minimum 7 years' experience expert in BIM/2D and 3D CAD and Revit, Knowledge of PAS1192-2:2013, BS1192:2007, BG6, Uniclass, COBie, IFC and other relevant UK BIM standards.

Must be able to demonstrate the experience of working in a consultancy, working for a large contractor in a design capacity, have previous people management experience and excellent presentation skills.

To help develop and manage the growth of BIM in compliance with information management policy and accordance with digital transformation programme and objectives.

To develop and integrate BIM standards to suit regional requirements.

To develop and implement training strategy to achieve consistent digital engineering capabilities across the business groups.

To report monthly the progress and level of implementation for standards, methods, procedures and training across offices.

Key Responsibilities

Review, produce and maintain capability assessment and training strategy for the team.Review, produce and present emerging technologies and trends as required.Review, produce and contribute material to bids and tenders as required.Carry out duties of sector managers or project coordinators as directed.Carry out regular meetings with sector managers.Organise internal events to share knowledge, broadcast and record session as required.Identify personal development needs and training to achieve objectives.Attend and contribute to project review.Management Duties

Ensure standards, methods and procedures are uniformly applied.Ensure training is accessible and consumption is being monitored within the team.Ensure relevant contributions are being made to bids by sector managers.Ensure project execution plans in place on all projects.Ensure reviews, assessments of emerging technologies and trends by reports is documented and regularly discussed by the team.Ensure resource levels are managed by Sector BIM managers, Directors and line managers.Ensure digital transformation is implemented by Sector BIM managers, line managers and directors.Ensure digital content is compliant with standards, methods and procedures.Ensure contract staff or third-party appointments is monitored.If you are interested in applying for this role, please send an updated CV to Andrew Sparks
