Monitoring Surveyor for Geotechnical and Land projects - CAD
Uk Leader in geo technical and structural monitoring and part of a global construction company, they
can work as an independent consultant or partner with the design and construction team on varied projects.
Your new role
As a Monitoring surveyor you will provide support to operations manager and project managers. The role is varied and includes interaction with the client and the public. The monitoring surveyor is responsible for the supply and installation of survey instrumentation, assists with project delivery and data presentation to the client.
Duties:
Assist in the management of contacts ensuring customer service, quality and Health and Safety are maintained to high standards.
Collection, processing and interpretation of monitoring survey data, CAD drafting, right choice of survey methodology.
Managing, recording and filing of data.
Liaise with designers and estimators to optimise site operations.
Be aware of safe working practice of site operations by implementing procedures to reduce / remove site and safety hazards.
Interpret clients drawings and make changes using AutoCAD
Be aware of estimates and designs' compliance with the organisations' health & safety policies and initiatives.
Understand and deliver the Client's requirements and maintain communications between both parties and encourage repeat business.
Attending data meetings and providing information for the clients
Liaison between site supervisory staff and clients.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in Land Surveying or Geomatics
Excellent writing skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD,
Excellent computer skills and high proficiency in Excel.
Good interpersonal skills at all levels .
Ability work under pressure.
Good fault finding skills and presentation skills.
Knowledge of surveying technics and best practices
Full UK driving licence.
CSCS Card Holder.
Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnics, Land Surveying or similar
Desirable:
Basic StarNet, Leica GeoMos
London Underground Safety Training / Sentinel Card / PTS AC DC
