Structural Design Engineer

Under the mentorship of a chartered structural engineer you will carry out detail design whilst gaining insight into the whole design and delivery process, covering conceptual stages through to  design production and client/ architect interface. This will build a solid foundation to enable you to progress. The breadth of work will incorporate steel, concrete, timber and masonry projects for new, refurbishment and conservation schemes. It will also provide the technical development needed to gain chartership with the IStructE or ICE.

About You: A degree qualified civil or structural engineer with one or more years’ experience in civil or building structures gained with a consulting engineering practice or a contractors’ design office. A genuine interest in structural engineering with the ability to think laterally and a strong desire to learn. Good team working and communication skills are essential.
