Job Details
An opportunity to move into the rail sector within our client’s in-house design team. This successful design and build contractor is growing its technical division to service a range of rail and underground projects throughout London and South East area. Projects include station improvements, new roof canopies, signal gantries, escalators, marshalling yards and platform extensions.
You will report directly to the technical director and manage a small team of technicians and have regular contact with clients. Strong technical and interpersonal skills are essential. A background in civil or building structures would provide suitable experience as would direct rail exposure. You should be a degree qualified civil or structural engineer with a track record of design and project delivery. Chartership or incorporation with the ICE or IStructE or a similar body would be advantageous.
