Civil Site Supervisor

A civil engineering supervisor, experienced in highways and associated civils works, is required for a project offering a two year plus input. This is an opportunity to work for a major client organisation that operates a site with extensive civil and building assets. Your role will be to supervise a range of work, part of an extensive expansion programme being carried out under the NEC form of contract.

The position has a particular focus on roads, paving and drainage supervision. Your responsibilities will be to ensure compliance and quality standards are adhered to by the appointed contractor and co-ordinate works with other construction and site activities. You will work closely with framework contractors and the in-house engineering and supervision team. In addition, you will promote good health and safety practices.      

About You -  A site based civil engineering background that includes highways/ infrastructure works. Ideally you will be familiar with contract documents for highway works and CDM regulations. Good communication skills are a pre-requisite, this is a position that will bring you into contact with a range of stakeholders. A minimum of six years work experience is required and you should have a degree or HNC in a civil engineering or construction related subject.
