Job Details
Our client “I&L” is a small and fast-growing consultancy specialising in the industrial and logistics sector. They have an opportunity for a civil and structural engineering technician to join them during an exciting period of growth offering the potential of excellent career progression. The company is headed up by an industry figure with an impressive track record of business success in this specialist sector. Your role will include the preparation of drawings, managing sub-consultants and checking work on periodic site visits. You will need an HNC, HND, degree or equivalent in an engineering subject and hold a valid UK driving licence.
About the company; I&L specialises in the design and construction of large industrial and storage buildings and works with all of the leading developers in this sector.
Your role, this will typically involve:
- Discussions with the client, other consultants, statutory authorities, and contractors.
- Preparation of design drawings. There are and will be opportunities for the right candidate to evolve into design engineering.
- Regular attendance on site and attending meetings.
