Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Working for a well established manufacturer in the Blackburn area as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Your new company
They are an established manufacturer that produce a range of products working with various chemicals. They have multiple sites and export globally. They have been around for the last 80 years.

Your new role
You will be working a days work pattern totalling 37.5 hours per week. Your role will be mechanically based and you will work on a variety of mechanical production equipment. Pumps and motors are a key parts as well as pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance. You will implement PPM across the site working with the maintenance team and will be reporting into the maintenance supervisor.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a recognised qualification in mechanical engineer such as an ONC minimum. You should also have experience working in a similar sort of industry where chemicals are used frequently and you will need to be experienced with fault finding and reactive breakdowns. You should also have some simple knowledge of welding whether this is MIG, TIG etc.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of between £30k - £31.5k and will be entitled to 33 days annual leave including bank holidays. You also will be enrolled in the company pension scheme and will receive life insurance of 4x your annual salary. You also receive healthcare for you and your family as well as a health scheme for eyes and teeth.
