Thames Water has moved to an “Intelligent Client” model for AMP7 and beyond and is building in-house capability to understand how its physical assets are performing, and when to make appropriate operational or capital interventions. We will own more of the scope and definition of projects, and risk will be managed by those best placed to mitigate it. To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Ideally with professional Chartered, or working towards this
  • Understanding of the development of design, construction and operation of infrastructure and/or non-infrastructure projects
  • Proven ability to work on and deliver engineering projects
  • Commercial and contractual knowledge
  • Good communication skills
  • Ideally, experience in field of water and/or wastewater
