A Multi-disciplinary engineering company with a great reputation is looking for a Utilities Coordinator to join their dedicated Utilities team, providing technical support to their clients and internal teams, from initial enquiry through to project completion.

They are ideally looking for someone with previous experience of utility networks.

The position is based in Hugglescote, near Leicester, however they are flexible with regards to regular home/office working.

So, if you have experience of providing utilities to new developments, particularly at the pre-planning and pre-construction phase; and are looking for your next opportunity to apply your specialist knowledge, expand your capabilities and develop your skills, then this could be the perfect move for you!

Key role responsibilities:

Conducting desktop searches to determine locations of existing apparatus within the vicinity of sites.Obtaining competitive quotations for new service supplies through statutory undertakers, independent distribution network operators and gas transporters.Produce constraints plans to inform emerging development designs and identifying easements and other key information.Preparing utilities reports for new developments, outlining key information for existing supplies, diversion/protection works, new services supplies.Attend meetings with clients, statutory undertakers and highway/local authorities.Project management responsibilities, including client liaison, fee proposals, and invoicing.Contribute to the growth and development of the utilities team.Occasional site visits for inspections or investigation work, and attendance at meetings with clients and statutory approving bodies; andKey skills, experience and attributes required:

Experience of a variety of utility related projects including infrastructure, commercial, residential and public sector schemes.Demonstrable relevant experience - with a detailed knowledge of utilities related industries.Familiar with AutoCAD software.Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.Working knowledge of health and safety standards.Self-motivated individual with desire to not only work within a team but also have ambition to help it grow and develop.Excellent communication skills; andHold full clean driving licence and car.If you are interested in applying for this role, please send an updated CV to Andrew Sparks
