You will be joining a specialist Machinery business based in Nelson. Due to consistent growth, this company is now seeking a Field Service Engineer on a permanent basis to keep up with their customers needs. They have been established for over 30 years and posses a great family-oriented culture.

Your new role
Your new role requires you to provide on-site service installation and training to customers in the UK. You will assist in other technical service tasks such as breakdown repair and routine service. Other duties include installation, repair and maintenance of machines on customers sites, accurately processing and recording all support incidents, gathering customers information and determining the issues by evaluating and analysing
symptoms, cooperating with the technical team and sharing information, build positive relationships with customers and following standard processes and procedures. Working hours are Mon-Thu 07:30am-16:30am and Fri 07:30am-13:30pm with the option of overtime when required.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally 3+ years in a Field Service Engineer role or the want to do a Field Service Engineer role - if you have no experience in a Field Service role you will need experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with exposure to pneumatics and motors. You will need the ability to install, test and repair electronic service equipment (PCB circuit boards), to be highly motivated to deliver the best possible service to customers, have strong verbal and written communication skills to report into management level and a full and valid UK driving license. Due to the nature of the role, being reliable is of paramount importance.

What you'll get in return
A salary of up to £28,000 with overtime paid at time and a half. You will receive 28 days annual leave including bank holidays, there is a company shutdown at Christmas. You will be provided with a company van, company mobile and a company credit card to pay for expenses. Training will be offered where required. The pension scheme is government standard. Free parking on-site.
