Head of Projects / Commercial Projects Lead

Hays are looking to appoint a Head of Projects / Commercial Projects Lead to join an engineering solutions provider.

What you will be doing
As an active member of the senior management team, you will lead the Project Management team, ensuring they deliver projects on-time, within budget and to the required customer specifications. You will play a key role in commercially assessing projects, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure all risks are mitigated and formal gateway stage reviews are completed.

Who you will be working for
You will be joining an established business that are successfully progressing on the journey of their long term growth strategy. They provide turnkey engineering solutions to the Utilities sector, Governmental departments and Main Contractors across the UK, through key Frameworks, projects within the team can typically range from £50K to £2m.

What we are looking

• A knowledge of key Frameworks such as NEC and JCT
• A solid understanding of the engineering / construction sector
• Strong commercial / contractual knowledge
• Proven experience working on a range of projects of varying sizes

What you'll get in return
You will be leading a skilled Project team and you be an active part of the senior management team within a business that is growing as a strong pace. The salary range is in the region of £55,000 with flexibility on the salary and package to secure the right person.
