Commercial Architectural/ Surveying firm is looking for an experienced Architectural Technician!

Our client is an architectural, surveying, planning and design firm located in West Essex/ East Hertfordshire. They are an experienced business full of young energy, providing services for over 30 years. Their core objectives are to provide comprehensive professional and complete service for their huge commercial and retail clients.
Your new role
This is a very exciting role, as you can expect something different every day. As part of this role, you will be travelling across England to different sites and buildings, doing appropriate measures and then drawing it all out using AutoCAD. You will have an opportunity to work directly with a client, in order to prepare surveys and working designs including plans, sections, elevations, sketches, drafts and details. You will be able to gain better experience and understanding of administrative applications for Local Authority, Landlords, Building Control and all other approvals, as well as polish on UK Building and Planning Regulations. You will be provided necessary training and introduction.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful applicant, you must have a good knowledge of AutoCAD and other basic MS programs. It is very beneficial to know BIM systems, Revit and SketchUp, but not necessary. You will have an experience working as a team member or individually, have good communication skills to liaise with clients and other team members, and be enthusiastic, adaptable and self-motivated individual.
What you'll get in return
This is a permanent position with a salary ranging from £25,000 to £30,000 annually. The company offers many benefits including pension scheme, company car, company mobile, annual benefit (amount depending on performance), PPE, 25 days holidays inclusive of bank holidays. The working hours are 9am until 5pm.
