Architectural Designer/technician - Residential Extensions and Conversions

Your new company
This architectural and surveying practice based in Hockley, Essex is looking to bring their previously subcontracted architectural services in-house, and so are seeking an architectural designer/technician who has experience in residential extension and conversion projects!

Your new role
You'll be working with the directors, surveyors and project manager to help deliver beautiful refurbishment, extension and conversion projects from small projects all the way to large high end domestic properties - the team will provide current plans along with client ideas for how they want their new home to look, you'll be tasked with coming up with suitable creative solutions and technical drawings to help bring these to life!

What you'll need to succeed
You'll need good knowledge of current UK planning and building regulations as well the ability to deliver visuals/concept visuals as well as technical drawings in AutoCAD, Sketchup etc and other programs you deem suitable, if you can use Revit this is a bonus but not necessary to apply

This would suit someone who has been a freelance architectural designer/technician and is looking for more consistent permanent workload within the Essex and hertfordshire area
