With over 50 years of experience our clients deals with the manufacturing and production of animal feeds and pharmaceuticals. They are devoted to the well-being of farm animals by providing quality feeds and supplements to farmers. Our client is well respected in the industry and they operate in multiple sites, but they are looking to recruit an engineer for their site in Staffordshire to complement their team of 3 engineers.
Your new role
You'll will be responsible for the maintenance of plant and equipment's to ensure smooth production. Carryout Fault-finding and diagnosis of breakdowns while maintaining effective cross-departmental communication. You will Ensure that all plant, equipment, buildings, and infrastructure are maintained in accordance with current health, safety, environmental and equipment legislation, and standards. To be responsible with Providing a safe working environment for employees, ensuring compliance with current Health, Safety and Environmental policies and safe systems of work. You will assist and facilitate the maintenance team in the removal of non-value-added work.
What you'll need to succeed
Relevant engineering qualification such as C&G, NVQ, HND or equivalent
Knowledge of fault finding with or without drawings
Previous experience working in the manufacturing environment
What you'll get in return
As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be working 40 hours on a week and paid a salary of £39,000 with the opportunity for overtime- paid at time and a half for weekday hours over 40, Saturday and Sunday double time. You also have the opportunity to be paid more when you do an evening or night shift.
