Your new role
Our client is looking for a multiskilled engineer to be responsible for the day-to-day, repairs and improve the performance of all manufacturing equipment, analysing faults and providing a solution in a safe and timely manner to maximise machine up time. Below is a list of equipment you will be working on:
- Two Sheetfed Heidelberg XL106 long perfector B1 presses
- Two M600 Web presses with a Scheffer Inline on one and a Log stacker on the other
- Two Polar Guillotines
- Three Stahl Folders
- Two MBO Folders
- One Muller Prima stitching line
- Two ST500 Stitching lines
They are keen on an individual who is self-motivated and can apply initiative when tackling repairs and maintenance.
What you'll need to succeed
Relevant engineering qualification such as C&G, NVQ, HND or equivalent
Trained to the IEE Wiring Regulations 17th or 18th edition (desirable)
Experience with reading and fault finding using schematic drawings
Previous experience working in the manufacturing environment
What you'll get in return
As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be working Mon-Fri 08:30-18:00 and be paid £38,000-£42,000 (dependent on skill set). You will be on a rotational call out rota, which would be weekends and nights through the week, they would be rotating one week on and one week off.
