The role involves managing the Structural Engineering Team and the budget for structural engineering consultants. The Team commission and manage external consultants undertaking structural surveys and Party Wall related works in response to requests made by teams within Resident Services.

You must have a Civil or Structural Engineering degree complemented by extensive proven post qualification experience in a similar role in a local authority. You should have good knowledge of structures, structural defects in low and high- rise domestic buildings, diagnostic surveys, remedies and Party Wall Etc. Act 1996.
