Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer required for multi-site market leader in respective industry.

Your new company
A market leader in their sector with over 150 years experience and three sites across the UK. Your new company have plans to expand their Cumbria site to keep up with customer demand and have invested heavily in their plant and machinery in recent years and are continuing to do so.

Your new role
Your will be responsible for the day to day running of the plant, maintaining machinery such as industrial dryers, ironers and batch washers, working within a team of highly-skilled and hard-working maintenance team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need proven experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a fast-paced production environment. A minimum of HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is required. 18th Edition is preferred but applicants with 17th Edition will definitely be considered. You will also need sound knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental regulation, to be familiar with E-stops, control circuits, motors and pumps. Experience of working with PLCs such as Siemens is required.

What you'll get in return
A salary of up to £37,000 with regular overtime available. A shift pattern of days with a backshift (5am-2pm, 6am-3pm & 3pm-12pm) There is a call-out system which you will be paid/compensated for. You receive 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays.
