HIGHWAYS ENGINEER

Highways Design Engineering job in Nottingham for a Civil Engineer who has extensive Highways design experience.

Your new role
You will take a leading role in helping to deliver a varied range of schemes from highway, footway and cycleway improvements to large residential and commercial developments within a multi-disciplined consultancy. You will be expected to manage your own projects, including Client and Regulator liaison, and provide technical mentoring to junior staff.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have 'hands on' design experience on a wide range of standalone S278 works and commercial and residential projects and have a working knowledge of current legislation, best practice, national standards, technical standards and local standards, as appropriate. will possess a degree in Civil Engineering (or other appropriate qualification) and will have 5 to 10 years relevant experience.
