Your new role
You will assist the Asset Manager in understanding the pavement needs of the network and organising all the technical investigations and surveys to deliver pavement maintenance assessments that culminate in pavement scheme treatments/recommendation for BHL/BCC. Key responsibilities to include identifying network needs, Pavement Condition Surveys and developing Thin Surfacing Treatment proposals.

What you'll need to succeed
You have advanced knowledge and practical experience in Pavement Engineering and Materials and you can demonstrate significant experience of Value Managing pavement schemes. You hold a degree in Civil Engineering (preferably Chartered). You have good knowledge of other highway assets and their association with pavement renewal. You need to be able to demonstrate experience of working collaboratively with supply chain partners. You have project and programme management skills, with the ability to use MS Project advantageous. You also have experience of undertaking services within an engineering environment which may include (but are not limited to); scheme investigation, site and structure inspections, data collection and analysis, feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design, preparation of tender documents.
