Senior Structural Engineer

Due to continued growth, my client, a leading practice based in Essex, are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join their busy structures team. With projects ranging both new build and refurbishment this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineer to take the next step in their career.

The successful candidate will be required to visit site, attending meetings and check progress of work to ensure projects are running to schedule. They will also be required to mentor and provide support to other team members.

Projects: Residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare and retail.

Requirements:

• A degree in civil or structural engineering,
• A minimum of 5 years' post graduate experience,
• Experience of following software would be advantageous SCIA, CADS 3D & Masterseries,
• Knowledge of all building materials and refurbishment experience would be advantageous,
• Excellent communication skills,
• Must be self-motivating with the ability to organise and prioritise workload,
• Must be capable of working under own direction whilst remaining a team player at all times,
• Should be a clear thinker and capable of making considered judgements.
