Principal Structural Engineer - London

Our client is a thriving practice of Structural & Civil Engineering Consultants with a busy  office based in North London.  Due to a significant increase in demand for their services and several exciting project successes, they now require a talented Structural Engineer to join this expanding team at either Senior / Principal Engineer or Principal Engineer, depending on level of experience.

Your role will involve supporting a wide range of projects, including multidisciplinary housing regeneration,hotel development, mixed use developments etc.  A key part of this role will involve maintaining, developing and promoting client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have an M.Eng Civil / Structural Engineering and be a member of the relevant body such as the IStructE.  You will ideally be a Chartered Engineer or working towards completing chartership.  Our client is keen to support professional development and will encourage in all aspects of this.   

You should have considerable experience in building structures, and will have designed to Eurocodes and to current industry standards, including design software analysis capabilities.  You will need a breadth of experience across all sectors and design in common materials is a must.  Some experience of conceptual design, project management including programming works, directing, prioritising and mentoring other team members will also be beneficial.
