Senior Civil Engineer job for a SME Civil / Structural Engineering Company, within Central London

The company are a well established firm whose expertise include; highways design, flood risk assessments, modern methods of construction, substructure design, general building structures and element design structures. They have an extensive experience of designing large scale projects in the UK in retail, residential development and commercial sectors with an understanding of the technical issues that arise with complex projects.Their partners include Architects, Trade Bodies and clients throughout the UK.

Your new role
This opportunity sits within their civil engineering team and comes with the responsibility of attracting and mentoring junior engineers whilst reporting to the managing director. As the majority of the companies civil design is outsourced to existing partners, the demand has substantially increased over the last year and so there presents a need for this demand to be satisfied in-house.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a track record of demonstrable project management skills which include providing solutions on budget, deliverables and managing the relationships with major partners and clients. You'll need experience working on drainage/SuDS design (including causeway flow modelling) for residential and commercial developments which ranged in scale from small to medium in size. Management of multiple projects is essential and the ideal candidate will be working towards chartership possessing an engineering based degree or qualification.
