Conrad Consulting is delighted to be working with a medium sized consultancy who provide engineering services across both the public and private sectors.

They have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join the small team in their Braintree office where the successful candidate will work under the guidance of senior engineers to assist them in meeting demanding schedules on challenging projects.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the design and completion of buildings structures projects, preferably including experience within the residential, education and commercial sectors.

Requirements of the Structural Engineer:

  • A degree in Civil or structural engineering,
  • A Chartered or near Chartered engineer,
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience of structural engineering in directly relevant fields,
  • Full clean driving licence & own car is essential as site visits will be required,
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal,
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with assistance of more senior staff,
  • A strong team ethic is essential.
  • Ability to maintain the high standards that clients are used to receiving.
