Principal Highway Engineer

Looking for a Full time contractor/Consultant to work with a large organisation outside IR35!

Your new role

Within this role as a Principal Engineer, you will be working in a growing UK Highways Sector, you are expected to have a strong track record on highway projects working with contractors and/or end clients on large highway schemes. You'll lead multi-disciplinary teams of Engineers, Technicians and external suppliers to deliver high quality output on projects, front clients and liaise with project stakeholders as required.

This new Position involves working on highway projects associated with HS2 and as such you will have a proven track record of leading highway technical teams.



What you'll need to succeed

Candidates will need to be a Chartered Engineer with the relevant UK bodies and must have significant experience in highways design alongside practical knowledge and experience of: highways design standards, specifications and CDM regulations. You must also be experienced in the digital delivery on highway schemes in BIM environment. Candidates must have at least 5 years of UK highways experience . Must have the right to work in the UK.
