Structural or Civil Technician based in St Asaph or Bangor, depending on your location

Your new company
Your new company is an award-winning multidisciplinary organisation with 5 office locations across North Wales, Cheshire, the Midlands and Kent. They complete the detailed design across a wide variety of sectors including commercial, residential, industrial, energy, waste and education, among others. They were recently appointed as the main client for a £100m Energy to Waste scheme in North Wales as an example of their intent moving forwards.

Your new role
Your new role will see you joining the organisation as a technician in either the civil or the structural department, depending on your software usage and experience gained. You will produce technical drawings for engineers which will contribute to the detailed design of your new projects.

Entering the Civil team, you will be in support of two engineers who have recently made the step up from technician roles. There is a pathway in place that will allow you to make similar progress further into your career if the relevant development has been demonstrated.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in your new position you will require a minimum of 2 years UK industry experience in your selected field. This experience will need to cover a variety of the aforementioned sectors. It is also required for you to be fluent using AutoCAD, where Revit will be seen as an advantage (for structural technician) and will be reflected in your salary.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a highly competitive salary in line with your previous experience. You will also be given the opportunity to work across a wide variety of sectors and gain invaluable experience for a rapidly growing consultancy, with plans to increase workload, workforce and office location numbers. There is a hybrid working policy firmly in place, allowing you to create a flexible schedule to support a work-life balance.
