Drainage Design Engineer working out of Mold Office or Remotely

Your new company
Your new company are a small, friendly, dynamic company that have been around for 25 years, with offices in Mold, Leeds and Belfast. They provide flood risk and drainage consultancy for the full project lifecycle for their clients in the commercial, residential, industrial, retail and energy sectors. Their are 15 technical staff in total, with 6 based in the Mold office.

Their services include flood risk assessments, preparing surface and foul water drainage strategies, preparing detailed drainage designs, undertaking sequential, exception and justification assessments, preparing flood warning and evacuation plans and undertaking Environmental Impact Assessments.

Your new role
Your new role will see you completing the planning application for clients at the first stage of the cycle, and eventually producing the detailed design solutions for your clients drainage requirements in the commercial, residential, industrial, retail and energy sectors.. You will be working a number of projects at once, and the turnaround can be fast depending on the size of the project.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need to have a minimum of 3 years' industry experience designing drainage schemes in the residential, commercial, industrial and retail developments. To a high standard you will need to be able to use AutoCAD for layout drawings and Microdrainage or Causeway Flow for drainage. Effective verbal and written communication skills will also be highly necessary.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a highly competitive salary inline with your previous experience. Your salary will also be reviewed bi-annually with a £500-£2,500 bonus available based on utilisation and deadlines met. There is a clear progression pathway in place, with chartership supported and all extra training costs covered. Three directors all started their journey at this company as graduates and have carved out a pathway for others to follow.

Crucially, you will be offered a highly flexible working model. Ideally you will commute into the Mold office twice a week, however if this isn't possible then working from home will be available. Your holidays will start at 21 days per annum and increase by 1 every year of work.
