What’s your role in Society?
We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Health and Safety Consultant / CDM Advisor to join our team in London.  
What does the role involve?
We require an experienced Principal Designer / Health and Safety Consultant who is confident building relationships and developing business whilst carrying out the full Principal Designer role under the CDM regulations 2015.  You will take a lead role with allocated existing clients, undertake site safety audits, coordinating the fee earning team and acting as a key client manager. 
To be successful in this role you’ll possess:
  • Chartered IOSH membership status (CMIOSH).
  • Membership of the Association of Project Safety (IMaPS).
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (preferred).
  • A strong understanding of health and safety legislation and regulations (CDM2015).
  • Experience and knowledge in construction.
  • Confidence in business development and building relationships. 
Skillset wise you should have the following behavioral competencies:
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload to ensure that timescales are met.
  • An understanding of the need to deal sensitively with client and company information, particularly where this is not in the public domain. 
  • Good problem solving/contingency planning skills with the ability to find quick, innovative and practical solutions. 
  • Effective negotiation and persuading skills with the ability to manage and diffuse challenging situations. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others to form strong, positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and contractors. 
  • Ability to recognise you own impact on others and adapt your approach where appropriate.
