A Technical Support Engineer job based in Telford paying up to £35,000 DOE
Your new company
Hays are proud to work with an award winning and global leading installation services provider based in Telford in recruiting for a Technical Support Engineer to be based solely at their head office in Telford.
Your new role
You will be a core member in providing internal support and technical support to customers and your key responsibilities include:
- Providing solutions to support customers on electrical maintenance queries and issues.
- Training and developing of staff.
- Completing reports for higher management
- Build knowledge of company products and applications to an 'expert' level
- Ensuring quality of standards are being met
- Determine whether or not to initiate the serious product failure process
This role would suit an experienced electrical maintenance engineer seeking a role with no travel and away from hands on daily maintenance duties.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified to 18th edition (desirable)
- C&G Electrical qualifications as a minimum or similar
- Experience within electrical maintenance within the field
- A passion for providing excellent service to customers
- Basic telephone and computer skills
What you'll get in return
An excellent basic salary up to £35,000, great training and development opportunities, 25 Days annual leave + Bank Holidays and a yearly bonus based on company and individual performance.
Working hours are Monday - Friday hours 8.30am- 5pm.
