We are currently hiring into our construction recruitment team at the London office. As a Recruitment Consultant within the Hays Construction team, you will work with businesses at the cutting edge of huge and exciting construction projects. You will recruit white collar professionals such as site managers, projects and contracts managers and quantity surveyors. The clients we work with include large and small developers, main contractors, and SME builders- and our approach is very involved- visiting sites in person to fully understand it's requirements and ensure we deliver the best service possible. Projects we recruit into vary from huge high-rise schemes, luxury residential properties, big civil infrastructure jobs and more.

You will be responsible initially for managing a 180 desk, this will involve being responsible for attracting talented candidates and developing lasting relationships. Once established you will have many opportunities to progress in our business, firstly to a 360-consultant position by developing business with clients, and then to management, account management or focused fee earning roles.

To succeed you'll need to be sales driven, results-focused, and possess an ambitious drive to succeed. Recruitment is hard work, and it takes time to achieve results so resilience, persistence and determination is key.
