A company are looking to appoint a highly motivated Associate Civil Engineer to work across an array of projects within their Infrastructure and Highways team in Manchester. Working closely with the Director you will be responsible for leading major projects, across sectors to include residential, highway schemes, local authority, leisure, defence, education, healthcare, and heritage.

They have adopted a hybrid approach this role will involve both home and office working.

You will have significant experience and CEng or IEng status. As well as a proactive approach to self-development and improvement, you will have the ability to motivate and manage a small team of talented engineers.

Your main responsibilities as Associate Civil Engineer:

Prepare and oversee designs and reportsActive involvement with bidding, fee tendering and client interviewsDeputies for the Director as appropriateManage design teamsRepresent the firm at client meetings and carry out presentation deliveryDay-to-day control of programming and planning, staff resources and monitoring of team utilisationUsing Microsoft Office, Revit/AutoCADExperience liaising with clients and managing major projectsGood knowledge with our industry design software packages Revit/ AutoCAD, Civil 3DStrong knowledge of conditions of contractGood report writing abilities
