Are you an experienced building control surveyor looking for a new role to develop your skills?

A company are looking for a Building Control Manager to join their Lancashire based team.

The role is to assist and support the Regional Director responsible for the office by providing efficient and effective management of local resources with regards to Approved Inspector operations in line with the company's aims and objectives.

The role

To give support, supervision, training, and guidance to an allocated team.To develop business opportunities and market the services offered by the company.To be fully conversant with all relevant legislation and ensure that procedures are updated accordingly.Vet all new commissions/plans to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and associated statutory legislation.Carry out or oversee all relevant inspections on site to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and associated statutory legislation.Provide technical advice and guidance to clients, i.e., architects, builders, etc. on building control matters.Full member of RICS or CABE or equivalent and CSCS CardThe benefits include a competitive salary, according to skills and experience, together with an excellent flexible benefits package.
