A company are looking for a Procurement Manager at Associate/Director level to support growth across their Infrastructure and Transportation programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business with a strong reputation for delivering high quality services within complex environments.

Working with clients across the public and private sector, you will use your skills - technical and others - to share your knowledge, expertise, and experience, and ultimately to deliver fantastic services. You will work collaboratively with their clients and their supply chain partners to develop/deliver solutions to complex and dynamic problems.

Required

Degree qualified - within a construction or business-related discipline.MRICS, MCIPS or MCIOB or working towards one of these qualifications (or similar).Suitable experience on major programmes and complex projects - these could be within construction, engineering, manufacturing, oil, and gas etc. Experienced in procurement delivery - from setting strategy to tendering, and on to implementation/commissioning.Experience of working within the requirements of Public Sector regulations these could include the Public Contracts Regulations, Utility Regulations and/or Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations.Experience of working in a client focused environment - working closely with clients, collaboratively with other consultants and contractors.Ability to devise and implement commercial policy and solutions to a wide range of clients and stakeholders. Familiarity with a range of different complex delivery models - ECI and Alliancing in particular.Experience of NEC3/4 forms of contract Experience in developing bespoke contractual models.Desirable

Experience in any of the following: Developing Commercial Governance Procedures, Processes and Systems. Running and managing dynamic purchasing systems/ auctions - public and/ or private sector.Contract Negotiation - in a Competitive Dialogue/ Competitive Negotiation setting.Commercial Management.Contract/ Project Management.Key Account Management (KAM).Risk and Opportunity Management.If you are interested in applying for this role, please send an updated CV to Andrew Sparks
