Responsibilities

Our Client is currently recruiting for a Noise and Vibration Assistant Consultant to be based in their Manchester office. They are looking for enthusiastic candidates with an interest in environmental noise and vibration to join our friendly and hardworking team.

The successful candidates will join our growing team and help to deliver our projects focusing on environmental noise and vibration. You will work alongside your colleagues in the Noise and Vibration Team as well as colleagues the wider Environmental Assessment Team to deliver project work.

Key Responsibilities

• Your role will be to provide technical input to a variety of noise and vibration assessments as well as supporting senior colleagues in areas such project organisation and the preparation of proposals.
• Your responsibilities will include site work, data analysis, computational modelling and reporting.
• You will be supported and guided by senior colleagues.

Skills / Qualifications

• Degree (Bachelors or Masters) in acoustics or an acoustics related subject.
• Our Client believe enthusiasm, personality, commitment and creative thinking are just as important as formal qualifications.
• Equivalent experience or a qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. maths, physics or engineering)
• Full UK driving licence
• As consultants, our work involves communicating technical concepts to non-experts, so we ask for a good standard of spoken English and high levels of literacy and numeracy
