Lead on the planning, design and implementation of major transport infrastructure.

Engineering Consultancy is looking for a highly motivated Project Engineer with experience in the design and project management of highway infrastructure. Through broad technical competencies and an understanding of highway and drainage standards, you will lead project teams that provide a comprehensive design service that supports the delivery of transport highway infrastructure within the construction industry.

You will have experience in project management, stakeholder engagement and staff development, when supporting the delivery of transport highway infrastructure. You will have strong relationship management skills and an ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of peers and colleagues. Through an active interest and a willingness to innovate, you will also support the development and application of low carbon materials and sustainable transport solutions. Engineering Consultancy sits within our Economy, Transport and Environment (ETE) department. We are a forward-thinking in-house consultancy providing a range of services to the County Council and other public authorities. This includes design, project/contract management, surveying, site supervision and laboratory testing from early stages of a project through to construction.
