Our client has an excellent reputation for delivering a complete range of design led civil and structural engineering projects and, due to an increased workload, an opportunity has been created in their busy office in Buckhurst Hill for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with a minimum of 8 years' post graduate experience.

The successful Senior Structural Engineer will join their small design team where you will play a leading role in delivering on a range of projects including new-build and refurbishment across the residential, commercial and educational sectors. As a Senior engineer you will also be required to offer support to and mentor more junior members of the team and therefore you will ideally have achieved Chartered status.

Requirements:

  • An Meng/MSc degree in civil or structural engineering,
  • A Chartered or near Chartered Engineer,
  • A minimum of 8 years' post graduate experience,
  • Competent in the use of AutoCAD,
  • Ability to work to deadlines,
  • Good interpersonal skills,
  • Willingness to ability to support and mentor others in a team,
  • Excellent attention to detail.

The successful Senior Structural Engineer will be offered a competitive salary and benefits e.g. a bonus of 0.5% of total invoices and an emphasis on staff social events.
