Home based Health & Safety Consultant role based in Coventry.

Your new role

  • Working on a range of projects providing CDM advisor and principal designer support to clients and principal designers;
  • Provision of health and safety management systems and audit support across a wide variety of sectors.
  • Carrying out research into health and safety issues, legislation and other topics.
  • Writing detailed reports, feasibility studies and HSE reviews.
  • General workplace site visits to assess compliance with local arrangements, carry out due diligence regarding Health and Safety and environmental issues.
  • Construction site visits to assess compliance with Construction Phase Plans and client-imposed site rules, carry out due diligence regarding Health and Safety and environmental issues.
  • Assessment of Health and Safety competency of contractors;
  • Preparing and delivering accredited and bespoke Health and Safety training;
  • Assisting with production of proposals and tenders;
  • Working with regulators and liaising with clients;
  • Providing advice on HSE issues;
  • Supporting with project administration and financial management;


What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH Certificate, experience within a similar role, hold a valid UK Driving License, and will be a good communicator and team player.
