Structural CAD Technician

Based in central Edinburgh our award-winning client is a multi-disciplinary that is looking to speak to a Structural Technician that is ready for a fresh challenge and the opportunity to work on a wide range of structural projects from bespoke, intimate designs right up to large scale commercial units.

Within this role as a Structural Technician, you will be able to escape from working on large identical, industrial designs Monday-Friday and really stretch your creative design and engineering knowhow as you learn and grow professionally.

Previous notable projects include the Tennent's Story, the British golf museum, multiple distilleries, numerous bespoke residential alterations and a Shetland lighthouse.

Your career is in safe hands with this ICE approved engineering consultancy as they look to give all staff the access to training and support to pass ICE professional exams and achieve chartered status.

Requirements of the Structural Technician

• Experience within a similar role at a design consultancy
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to work to deadlines, within budget and to programme
• Confident working with AutoCAD
