Senior Structural Engineer

Working on the most important and challenging structural projects for a market leading consultancy is something that all Structural Engineers want to be involved in, right?

This role offers exactly that, as an Associate Structural Engineer you will work on a wide range of projects within a significant defence framework in Scotland for one of the worlds most recognised and respected engineering consultancies.

You can also expect to be involved in various exciting domestic and global engineering projects that include education, commercial, airports, energy as well as residential builds.

This senior role is suited to a Structural Engineer with a background of working on a variety of defence projects for an established consultancy within the UK.

Ideally, you will be someone that has ambitions to lead a design team and progress to director level, quickly.

The role demands that you will be comfortable working autonomously, managing your own workloads and working collaboratively with internal and external clients, decision makers and industry stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects that frequently exceed that value of £200M.

Responsibilities

• Leading and carrying out design work in all building materials
• Project management
• Contributing to company development through mentoring junior staff
• Maintaining client relationships to ensure repeat business

Requirements

• A degree in Civil/Structural engineering
• Chartered or near Chartered Engineer
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Eligible for (UK) security clearance
• Strong working knowledge of various design software packages

ON OFFER

• £40,000 - £50,000 Per annum
