An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Environment and Technical Division, NSPPP for a Highway Development Control Officer 

The Highway Development Control Group’s work is integral to the future development of Torfaen. The Group provides the Highway Authority’s advice on planning applications to the Local Planning Authority for development control purposes, providing administrative and technical support to protect the Highway Authority’s interests in respect of policies, legal agreements, licences and highway records and inventories.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across the council, most notably the Local Planning Authority, and a wide range of stakeholders including developers, consultants and contractors.
