Your background will have given you an understanding of steel and concrete design and buildability. Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills are highly valued and a strong interest in engineering and architecture is essential. An understanding of the principals of BIM and experience of commonly used design and analysis software is required. You should have a degree in civil or structural engineering from a reputable university.
