CAD Technician in Liverpool
Your new company
Your new company, formed in 1978 is a multidisciplinary organisation based in the heart of Liverpool city centre. With 35 technical staff split over their civil and structural departments, your new company is a firmly established medium sized enterprise competing with larger companies for work across the UK.
With strong beginnings in the healthcare sector, your new company now operates UK wide across education, commercial, leisure and residential. The practice has successfully delivered projects up to £400m, whilst retaining the flexibility and staff-focused approach which made them successful to start with.
Your new company is also BIM Level II accredited and as such has clearance to design on the latest state-of-the-art, and high project value facilities.
Your new role
Your new role will see you joining the structural team of 20, completing the technical drawings using AutoCAD across a range of sectors for the engineers to complete their detailed design. In the most part, these sectors include high-rise residential, commercial, healthcare, education.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need at least 3 years' industry experience. It is also essential that you are a fluent user of AutoCAD 2D and 3D and able to use the software in a variety of projects in different sectors. Being a team player and having strong verbal and written communication skills are all valued highly at your new company.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a highly competitive salary up c.£40,000 (+ bonus) depending on previous experience and level of responsibility. Furthermore, a company pension scheme, private healthcare contribution and life insurance policy 2 times salary are included in the package along with a rail card if needed.
An annual salary review every year will boost your salary by 4%, and a Christmas bonus is always offered in the region of 5-10% of salary. There is an exciting social calendar at your new company, with an annual trip to Dublin, and all Guinness paid for!
Internally designed training schemes, regular mentoring and qualification support are all firmly embedded into your companies ethos, helping you to advance your skillset and further your career. More specifically a Revit training scheme has been created which will give you the opportunity to build on you technical skillset and further your career.
