An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to join our busy Consultancy Team, working on a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the County under accredited quality, environmental and health and safety standards.

We are looking for an extremely organised engineer with appropriate qualifications and experience to assist our Principal Engineers to deliver a range of highway, traffic and other engineering projects.

You’ll have a good knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles, highway design standards, contract preparation and management, CDM Regulations and health and safety legislation.

There will be opportunities to progress your professional qualifications towards EngTech, IEng or CEng status with the Institution of Civil Engineers.

To succeed in this post you will need to be highly motivated and be able to work alone or as part of a team to help deliver projects on time and within budget.

Exciting projects

In recent years, we’ve delivered civil engineering and infrastructure projects such as Colwyn Bay Waterfront coastal defences and promenade improvements, Conwy Culture Centre, the Venue Cymru reconfiguration and several new schools.

We have 3 coastal defence projects totalling £40m under construction on the Conwy coastline with another 3 in the pipeline. We’re also identifying solutions to reduce flood risk to our rural communities and instigating flood alleviation construction schemes.

Our Structures team are responsible for inspecting and maintaining over 1,200 bridges, retaining walls and culverts.
