Your new role
By taking on this role as an Asset Management Engineer, you will be joining a team that will identify a rolling programme of pavement schemes and value management of the same, potentially incorporating the design requirements. You will be working closely alongside the Asset Manager to identify opportunities to bring together pavement schemes with other assets for renewal. You will also ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, especially the CDM Regulations, and actively promote Healthy and Safety in the workplace as well as ensure awareness of and compliance with the general Health and Safety Responsibilities as set out in the Health and Safety Management System.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will possess a degree in Civil Engineering (preferably Chartered) and have substantial experience of Value Managing pavement schemes. In addition, you will also have advanced knowledge and practical experience in Pavement Engineering and Materials. Furthermore, you will also have an understanding of other highway assets and their association with pavement renewal as well as be able to manage the delivery of technical outputs of project teams.
